La Petite Auberge — Restaurant in Evolène

As a foodie, I rate this place among the top three in Evolène and Lannaz. The dishes are beautifully arranged and very tasty; the setting is exceptional, with a pretty garden and traditionally cozy indoors. Service is competent and efficient to the point of accepting a 2.50sfr roundup without wasting a word ;). The symbiosis with the nearby Télésiège is almost perfect. Locals and tourists find consolation here when stranded during a (scheduled or surprise) break of the Télésiège - including the taxpayer-subsidized lunches that it's staff...

Went over the winter. Inside cosy small wood / alp atmosphere. We were 2 families with 4 kids and the staff were super friendly to all. Everyone got a different meat dish and just loved it! Looking forward to...
