GALAAXY Main Station — Restaurant in Falera

The newly decorated Galaaxy Restaraunt is a huge disappointment and embarrassment.

The style/decorations are awful. I think the designer must have been smoking something. There is a horrid carpet throughout. Terrible ornaments (who is going to dust them). Plants everywhere (who is going to look after them). Porn magazines decorate the boys toilets inwhich young children go. Less seats available for eating. Upstairs is totally shut to the skiing public.

Finally the food is disgusting and overpriced, not to mention the grumpy serving staff behind the hot food section.

We have a Ferein Wohnung in Flims and we are embarrassed to take friends into the galaaxy.

The atmosphere alone was worth it 😁 Very eclectic decor with upside down plants & everything. Cool music & vibes. Plus, seeing a 360-degree view of the Alps is always nice. Food was good, not great, and of course it's pricey, but that's to be expected when you're on top of a mountain no matter where you are. I'd definitely go again, given the chance 😊 Ordering was a little bit of a hassle because the ordering kiosks weren't working, but there was no sign to explain that. Eventually, we were able to order, which was easy, & the food was ready pretty quickly.

P.S. We weren't able to go to the top of the building because there was a private party, so that was a bummer but...

Suprisingly good for a restaurant on the skiing slopes. Very fast service, good food (pulled pork is great, also on the galaaxy burger). Views from the inside are stunning, ans great arrangement of smaller and larger tables. You do feel like you're arriving in a building from a Bond villain, and that's meant as a compliment. They have a system through which you can order from your table on your cell phone, but without free wifi that is useless for non-swiss people given the crazy Swiss roaming prices.
