Gasthof Tell — Restaurant in Gisikon

Heard a few whistles and bells about this place but fairly speaking i am not blown away. The food was good and tasty The boss "romp around" on the other hand is kinda annoying and he's attitude is arrogant. The serving skills of Daniel are questionable as he just throws the soup, plates and salad on the table in a very unwelcoming way for guests awaiting their food. On the other hand Ms.Tuyen was superbly friendly and very efficient in her serving skills!!! She's a keeper!

Wir waren sechs Personen. Das Riz Casimir war sehr gut aber kalt und ich ass es kalt, weil ich nicht mehr länger warten wollte. Die zwei Chateaux Briand Gerichte waren gut, aber beim nachbestellen der winzigen Portion Sauce Bernaise musste man über 20Minuten warten, sodass diese Gerichte ebenfalls völlig kalt waren. Das Tartar Gericht war gut. Brot mussten wir vier mal nachbestellen, weil immer nur gerade vier dünne Scheiben gebracht wurden. Die zwei Kinder belamen ihr Essen eine halbe Stunde früher als wir Erwachsene... Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, aber völlig erstaunt, dass wir die Länge der Saucenlieferung bemängelten. Wir alle waren uns einig, dass wir für etwa Fr. 357.- um eine bessere Leistung der Küche gehofft hatten und niemand von uns wieder im Restaurant Tell kommen wird. Sogar die Kinder die im Spielzimmer Angst hatten vor dem gemalten Tell mit Armbrust und Pfeil. Nice place by the river bank. Good food and desert. Very healthy with summer salat.
