Hotel Bergführer Elm — Restaurant in Glarus Süd

We stayed in this small hotel in Elm in March 2021 (during the coronavirus pandemic). The room was spacious and looked to have been recently renovated. The room had a modern and charming feel with lovely wooden beams and a few mountaineering decorations. We also had a small balcony with a great view of the mountains.||||The hotel is not in the centre of Elm, but Elm is not very big so it is only a short walk (on a road) to the town centre and the gondolas up the mountain.||||The owners were accommodating to our needs, we had wanted to have our evening meal from the restaurant in our rooms, but in the end we ate in the restaurant as it was not busy. 2 nights-skitrip to ELM, Family with 2 kids (7 and 9 years old). This is a perfect family hotel, wooden style, clean and calm. The 3 bed room supported easily a 4th bed. We had enough space with all the ski clothes. The hotel is about 400 meters from the gondola (10 minutes walk) and 800 meters from the center of the village Elm. Very nice staff.
