Restaurant Pizzeria Bed & Breakfast Sternen — Restaurant in Glarus Süd

Lovely little restaurant. We sat outside with a fabulous view of the mountains and lots of animals around the area. A family of goats practice their kills as we sipped Elmer Citro woth our feet up.

For dinner we ordered the Pappardelle Stärne which hit the spot after a long day on the trail.

The "Wirtin" was lovely and attentive. A few of the other guests must have been repeat customers as she remembered their usual order.

After being closed for some years it’s nice to see this open again and operating as a friendly family run restaurant that is a center for the community too. A beautiful terrace with a great view and a bright interior . Specialized in Italian food (risotto, pizza and pasta) but also most of what you find on a Swiss country restaurant menu. The pizza I had was very good and I felt welcome....

Che dire.. immerso in un contesto paesaggistico favoloso a 5 minuti a piedi dalla funivia sciistica di Sportbahnen a Elm che tra l'altro offrono piste da sci mozzafiato . Se siete in cerca di un posto dove Mangiare in un ambiente a conduzione famigliare strepitoso con piatti squisiti sia Svizzeri che Italiani e sentirsi coccolati dalla signora Anna che sa trattare la clientela con gentilezza a tal punto di sentirsi come a casa propria allora questo è ciò che fa per voi.. Giacinto il titolare sicuramente vi farà leccarsi i baffi con le sue leccornie inoltretutto e disponibile su prenotazione usufruire di un Appartamentino grazioso sopra il ristorante completo di tutti i principali confort dove poter passare una bella settimana bianca in compagnia della propria famiglia Un voto da 1 a 5 stelle ?
