We tried to find a table at Grindelwaldblick on our hike from Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg but the service was not good because they did not acknowledge our presence...luckily we then discovered this gem a few metres down the path. Lovely views and the friendliest service I've experienced in a long time. This is a great place to have lunch and admire the view of the mountains.

We had the burger and the veggie burger, which were both pretty good. Also had the spicy sausages which weren't bad but a bit fatty however they tasted good.

However, the service was excellent, and the lady was very helpful in advising which route to walk back to Wengen. If you want to...just ask her!

Best part was...

One star for the ok food. But it’s a ridiculous place. Even you paid for drinks and food, you can’t use their washroom. They said it’s private. So you have to walk down to train station if you want to wash your hands or use the toilet. The best part is, a girl used the toilet and no one stopper her.
