Rössli — Restaurant in Herrliberg

Hotel has a great location at the lake. A car is recommended as there will be quite a walk to the train station (Meilen). Breakfast is included and has good assortment of condiments and prompt service for coffe (from machine) or anything else. Had two long stay rooms which were really nice. There are 3 rooms (3 flight of steps) to one bath which was clean and had washer/dryer. Didn't make it for dinner, but understand from "locals" that it's great. Looking...

Ein schweizer "Chuchi" Restaurant.

Das Essen ist okey leider zuviel Rucola im Essen irgendwie hatte ich das Gefühl ich esse immer das gleiche,da ich nur diesen Geschmack im Mund hatte ( bestellte Feldsalat mit Rucola und Ei , Schrimps mit Risotto, Vermicelle Becher)

Das Ambiente : Ein eher kleines schlichtes Restaurant mit wenig Deko,dafür ein heiimeliges Gefühl,klein,warm und nicht zu laut.

Sauber,Tische wie Toilette ,die sich ganz am Eingang befindet. Das Personal: Wir waren in einer Gruppe von ca.14 Pers.,wesshalb wir eine eigens zuständige Person hatten,die sich um uns gekümmert hat,diese tat was sie tun musste.

Ich stiess 15min später als letzte zur Gruppe dazu , wesshalb ich am Eingang warten musste,da es noch 1.Pärchen und eine Einzelperson vor mir gab. Das Pärchen wurde überfreundlich von einer Bediensteten empfangen ( Bekannte )und sofort an einen freien Tisch gebracht,die Einzelperson wurde kaum beachtet und nicht begrüsst,bis sie sich selbst an jemand wendete,danach hatte man das Gefühl wiederwillig an einen Tisch gesetzt. Mir schenkte man ebenso keine Aufmerksamkeit ,wesshalb ich mich selbst in bewegung setzte und zu meiner Gruppe ging. Will alles sagen zum Personal sehr unfreundlich.

Great cordon bleu. Everyday a new variation of the cordon bleu. The lunch menu in general is very good and you have a great selection of menus. Very tasty meal in general. And the best thing is: the plat is very hot so that the food doesnt get cold. The owner are really friendly and have a lot of humour, keep up the great food and the good service. Highly...
