Lovely, cozy pensionat with restaurant. Not even a hint of luxury, but outstanding personal and perfect service. Had a single room for a week. Just perfect, yet no toilet or shower which are located at the end of a corridor. No TV or radio, but I didn't need one. No special furnitures, but very nice bed, which quaranteed superb sleep. Free wlan which was flawless. But the atmosphere, owners living in the building and the building itself just magically made things match just perfectly. When a storm shut down the whole Andermatt-Sedrun-Disentis valley, broke the MGB train and forced to make a detour via Chur and Zurich owners volunteered to pick me up all the way from Göschenen. But MGB had made a promise to bring every customer back to their original accommodation which in my case was Hospental - so we had a private train to Hospental at 22.50.

I had a great time here. The owners are warm and kind, breakfast is abundant, the pizzas are great, the single room is big, and the guesthouse is full of character. Location is great too - the free shuttle (snow bus) stops just across, and the Hospental train station is a good 7-minute walk (although the walk from the station to the guesthouse has a bit of an uphill climb). I was ok walking with my backpack while dragging a snowboard bag. I would stay here again!

Absolutely great pizza with a real thin crunchy italian dough! Very cosy location, friendly and clean place! With pleasure will be back here! One star minus because of the fact that you are charged CC fees even with a bill of over 100.-!

The hostess was very welcoming, friendly and helpful, she spoke great English which saved us the embarrassment of not knowing any German past danke. We arrived after dark without a reservation but was still accommodated for. Dinner and breakfast were really tasty and just what we needed, beer and coffee were spot on too. ||||They have a gorgeous, well trained dog that lives in, he didn't disturb us or even get in our way, moving out the way without prompt when guests would pass him. ||||The room was cute, comfortable and warm, the shared toilet and shower were no problem and there's a sink with wash cloths, towels and a vanity mirror in the room. The bed was my favourite part, unbelievably comfortable, I had a fantastic nights sleep. ||||It was the most expensive place we stayed in during our trip even though we stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels but taking into consideration we had no reservation, no online deals, Switzerland is generally more expensive and we were there in season, I think it's a fair price.||||The village it's self is gorgeous and definitely worth seeing...

Ok for a quick stop The bouillon with egg was very good. The staff was not overly friendly, yet not rude. The garden is located in a courtyard protected from wind yet allowing sunshine in, thus it is relatively cozy and warm. Noise from the street is barely audible. The menu offers an ample variety of local dishes.

But the pizza calzone was among the worst I ever had - and I have had quite a few in many places. Apart from being not properly baked, it tasted bland, lacked salt and did not contain the extra garlic I had ordered. The egg was preboiled, the cheese had not yet melted, the dough was raw at the edges. When I told the cook about the raw dough, he informed me that his calzone has to be like this, since the dough had been folded multiple times. Since this nearly never happened in other places, I was not too impressed with this explanation for a culinary disaster.
