Dinner and breakfast were really tasty and just what we needed, beer and coffee were spot on too. ||||They have a gorgeous, well trained dog that lives in, he didn't disturb us or even get in our way, moving out the way without prompt when guests would pass him. ||||The room was cute, comfortable and warm, the shared toilet and shower were no problem and there's a sink with wash cloths, towels and a vanity mirror in the room. The bed was my favourite part, unbelievably comfortable, I had a fantastic nights sleep. ||||It was the most expensive place we stayed in during our trip even though we stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels but taking into consideration we had no reservation, no online deals, Switzerland is generally more expensive and we were there in season, I think it's a fair price.||||The village it's self is gorgeous and definitely worth seeing...

Read moreOk for a quick stop The bouillon with egg was very good. The staff was not overly friendly, yet not rude. The garden is located in a courtyard protected from wind yet allowing sunshine in, thus it is relatively cozy and warm. Noise from the street is barely audible. The menu offers an ample variety of local dishes.
But the pizza calzone was among the worst I ever had - and I have had quite a few in many places. Apart from being not properly baked, it tasted bland, lacked salt and did not contain the extra garlic I had ordered. The egg was preboiled, the cheese had not yet melted, the dough was raw at the edges. When I told the cook about the raw dough, he informed me that his calzone has to be like this, since the dough had been folded multiple times. Since this nearly never happened in other places, I was not too impressed with this explanation for a culinary disaster.
