Restaurant Rössli HÜ — Restaurant in Hunzenschwil

This one of the most eclectic hotels I have stayed for a long time.||||On a positive, room was clean (but basic), but the price reflects this, as cheap by Swiss standards.||||Breakfast is a plastic box in the fridge with a yogurt, some jam/jello and honey sachets and a carton of orange juice. Two bread rolls are left in a plastic bag on your door handle about 05:00 in the morning. That’s breakfast at this hotel ! Taken in your room. Nespresso Coffee machine in room producing a good cup of coffee.||||Check in is not until 17:00 and check out is 12:00. ||||I’d worked all night and didn’t get to bed until 05:00, but the manager was ok with us sleeping until 12:00. Shame he didn’t tell housekeeping or the builder doing renovations !||||No facilities, but unsecure parking is free and as is the internet.||||Oh and you pay for the night on arrival (having telephoned the owners mobile), and leave your key in plate on reception when you leave.||||Clientele oblivious to other guests and walls a very thin.||||This suited my needs (just) for 1 night, but probably wouldn’t do it again...

Stayed at this hotel in transit through Switzerland. It is well located very close to the A1. The check staff was extremely pleasant, English speaking, and helpful. The room was large, claen, well presented with a very comfortable bed. The room was quite, despite facing the road. Parking is off road (not secure); wifi free. Only niggle was that breakfast is rather Spartan, and is left in the room. I am not familiar with Swiss hotel costs, but by European standards the hotel is expensive for this...
