L'Auberge de Mézières — Restaurant in Jorat-Mézières

I booked using a well known Booking website as the hotel is on my route to Italy - what a lucky move.

I was met be the Chef, Nicolas, who welcomed me and settled me in with a locally brewed beer that was much needed after 8 hours on a motorbike.

The room is comfortable and has everything you need and nothing you don’t. Perfect for my requirements, clean, spacious and quiet.

The restaurant is where L’Auberge shines. I left my food selection to the chef and again this was a great move. Foie gras to start was delicately prepared, flavoursome and delicious.

For my main they served Duck with a selection of seasonal vegetables. Again delicious.

Nicolas is a talented chef, lots of technique on display, great ingredients and care clearly taken with every dish.

Crème Brûlée finished a super meal with the support of friendly attentive staff.

I can throughly recommend this place for a stay. Arrive hungry and leave satisfied.

Nous fréquentons cette adresse depuis plusieurs années, et pour nous, c'est la référence incontournable de la région. La constance exemplaire, tant dans la cuisine que dans le service, fait de chaque visite une expérience remarquable. Venir avec un bébé est un plaisir, car son assiette est toujours joliment préparée avec un vrai dressage, au point qu'on en oublierait qu'elle est destinée à un enfant. La carte des vins est incroyable et très abordable, complétée par un service à la hauteur d'une cuisine irréprochable et pleine de saveurs. Quoi que l’on choisisse, c'est toujours un délice.
