This place is awful in that their system forces you to squeeze by the waiting line to lay claim to a table somehow then squeeze by the line again to reach the end and then wait forever while the single cashier operates at a very slow and unconcerned pace filling orders and flatly refusing to take an order if you cannot indicate your table number. I waited I think at least 10 minutes, perhaps more, being constantly jostled by others. The worst customer service I have encountered in Klosters or anywhere else in Switzerland. The food looks good in the display case, but I never had a comfortable chance to order it. It’s a great place with good food and atmosphere. My favorite for a long time. Too bad they change the opening times second half into the season already and closed for 2 mornings. We were looking forward to a breakfast on Tuesday morning only to find out a sign on the door they are closed (no information on the internet). The other Cafe Klatsch in town was unfortunately very low on breakfast offer (out of Gipfeli and no warm breakfast apart from panini and other heat up premade ‘dow’) and when we asked for changing 1/2 of a panini with different ingredients for my daughter we got very unfriendly ’no’ as an answer.
