Auberge de La Ferme Droz-dit-Busset — Restaurant in La Chaux-de-Fonds

This restaurant is really good!

I was at this restaurant for lunch, on a Tuesday in summer. We had lunch on the terrasse, outside on a beautiful sunny day.

The food was refined, super tasty and the service was friendly and very efficient. We took the "Menu du jour" and were served within 10min of our order (although all the terrasse tables and several inside the restaurant were crowded). The ratio quality / cost is very high (thus very good).

The location is ok, it's not the main asset of the restaurant since the restaurant is between the airport and a relatively busy road. The terrasse is greatly enjoyable however and the restaurant inside has a beautiful atmosphere, proposing a design bridging a traditional old farm from Neuchâtel county, and the most sophisticated infrastructure (toilets, and so on are...

If you made me pick one restaurant in La Chaux-de-Fonds, this would be it. This has been the one place that, to me, has commanded every CHF of its worth.

The Food: Always impeccable. Meats and vegetables cooked just right. Succulent sauces. Delicious desserts. Excellent wine.

The Service: Attentive and friendly - always taken care even when it is busy.

The Atmosphere: An old farm house with charm, but warm on the inside.

Foie gras , feuilleté aux champignons, salade, potage, asperges, tartare de bœuf, filet de cheval. Tout est excellent. Excellents desserts maison. Une remarque particulière pour la coupe Danemark qui est totalement faite maison avec de la crème fouettée maison et un chocolat fait maison. Ces éléments ne sont pas compliqués à faire….. mais ont totalement disparu des restaurants en général. Ce qui est scandaleux mais c’est un fait. À La Ferme Droz Dit Busset c’est tout le contraire.
