La Grand Vy — Restaurant in La Grande-Béroche

I ordered Fondue for two. The waiter was rather rudely saying we should each order something separately, we ended up still getting the single portion.

The fondue was delicious but only served with 4 half slices of bread which is not nearly enough. I waited for a while to ask a waiter for some more but after 10 minutes I decided to go inside to ask. They said yes and that they would bring it to us outside. We waited for 20 minutes so the cheese was already separated and not good anymore.

For payment there was a sign that said Twint was accepted. When we asked if we could pay with Twint we where told that this was only possible if we really couldn't pay at all with cash and when we said we didn't have cash we got another mean look and we ended up paying in euros that we leftover from a vacation.

In short, the food was really tasty but the service was absolutely horrible. I would only go back there if you don't mind waiting for the waiters and only...

Pretty rude waitress telling us in bad manners that we shouldn't seat before she cleans the table (she had seen us sitting down and she didn't tell us anything). She returned us 50 cents. less and when we told her that she replied: nobody will get rich because of that. Shameless! Apart from that... the coffee with milk was rather dark water with milk than a proper coffee with milk. I would not come...

We got there before closing time according to Google Maps, there were people outside in the terrace and they said they were closed and we couldn’t even use the toiled or buy water.
