Stalla - Alp Nagens — Restaurant in Laax

Closed without warning!!! According to both the app and the website, Stalla – Alp Nagens was open. However, after hours of cycling uphill, we found the hut closed for a private event, with only a small sign at the entrance. There was no prior warning, no apology, and no recommendation for alternatives nearby. When we mentioned that the app and website still listed it as open, the staff showed no concern.

This kind of incorrect information and lack of communication is unacceptable, especially in a mountain environment where visitors rely heavily on accurate details for planning...

Came to this restaurant twice during my time in Laax, Flims, Falera and I must say this is one of the best restaurants on the Alps. I highly recommend the cheese dumplings with fried onions and also enjoy a Baileys Hot Chocolate with whip cream. The soup is also really good, wrapped in char leaves. You can't get this in most places. Not sure if it's because it's a Romansch dish? Their cheese and dairy comes from their 90 cows. Doesn't get any better than this. I also got a truffle fondue for one but ended up sharing it with 2 more people cause it...

Came here on a Saturday after our hike coming from Laax. Gorgeous outdoor seating and Swiss food with a bit a twist. We had the Gerstensuppe and the Rösti Stella with pear, Alpenkäse and nuts - we shared the portions to not overeat. Nice flavors and the Rösti were not greasy at all - which we appreciated a lot. As a dessert we had home made plum cake with cream.
