One of the waiters was incredibly rude. When I first arrived at the dining area, he abruptly told me I couldn’t sit there and had to go to the café area. As a new customer, I naturally didn’t know this, so his tone felt unnecessarily harsh. Later, when the rain stopped, I wanted to sit outside in the scenic area. He refused, saying, “It’s going to rain the whole week, so if you sit there now, other customers will also want to.” I even offered to clean the stools and table myself, but he still didn’t allow it. If the stools couldn’t be used, why were they left outside instead of folded up? His response felt unreasonable and really ruined the experience. Finally, I asked if it was okay to just stand nearby, and he agreed. Another customer even joked with me about the situation, so it seemed I wasn’t the only one who found his manner unpleasant. Thankfully, another waiter I interacted with was very polite and friendly, which was a relief. It’s disappointing that such a highly rated restaurant in Switzerland, a country known for its etiquette, had such...
Read moreUnfortunately, this place has not met any of my expectations. To start, I tried calling many times beforehand to reserve a table, but there was no answer. We risked going for an early dinner anyway, and because we never had the chance to reserve, we got a small table in the middle - although many others were still available. If we had a great food experience, this would have been fine. However, I never saw such an expensive small, unappetizing, and tasteless steak in the dozens of countries I already visited. This place should be ashamed of their steak; you clearly explain your preferred point, and they bring you a smaller tasteless steak, which is way over the desired cooking point - they did not grill it, they fried it - and it wasnt good at all. I felt really bad in there and haven't even ordered dessert. Do not recommend the steak, and French fries were cold. I hope the restaurant takes this as constructive feedback to reconsider their steak quality and how they should work on their appreciation for...

My experience at Hotel and Restaurant Kaiserstuhl was simply magical. Nestled in a charming Swiss village near Interlaken, this place is a true dream come true. From the moment I arrived, I felt immersed in authentic Swiss culture.
The views are breathtaking: a serene lake right in front, surrounded by majestic snow-capped mountains that look like they’ve been pulled from a postcard. Every sunrise and sunset is a spectacle worth savoring.
