Chawi's Malanser Stube — Restaurant in Malans

We stopped here somewhat on a whim as we drove from Vaduz to Merano. The kids were tasked with finding a decent restaurant, and this was their choice. And they made a good choice.

The food is fantastic, the service is attentive and friendly (they have fluent English speakers, if that helps). They have both Thai and local Swiss/German dishes.

I ordered the chicken cordon bleu (pictured, bottom left plate), my daughter ordered the mixed vegetable dish (top left plate) and her friend ordered the weiner schnitzel (top right plate). My son ordered the pad thai (bottom right plate). All were just delicious.

We are fortunate to have serendipitously landed at Chawi's that afternoon. We had a great meal right there in Malans. This comes highly recommended from a group of 4...

Se non volete una spiacevole sorpresa fatevi dire i prezzi prima!!! Scegliamo il posto seguendo le recensioni di prezzi contenuti entriamo è un signore anziano molto grentile ci fa sedere ci spiega che è un segg service a buffet e che si può prendere tutto anche più volte:da notare che ci sono delle insalate del riso in bianco con del petto di pollo quasi lesso, della pasta in bianco con del ragù di carne e delle verdure cotte ..stranamente il signore non ci dice nulla sui prezzi ma visto il menù modesto non chiediamo nulla. Prendiamo i nostri piatti chi un po’ di riso con verdure chi un po’ di riso con pollo e chi una pasta in bianco con un po’ di ragù.Bene vado a pagare e mi sparano 130 € 😡😡😡 controllo il conto e nonostante fossimo in 4 (due adulti e due ragazzi) e non ti puoi sbagliare visto che non c’è nessuno mi trovo tre menù con un prezzo un quarto con un altro prezzo è un quinto con un altro prezzo . insisto ad avere un chiarimento sul per 5 menu con prezzi diversi e dopo un po’ la ragazza senza dire nulla mi restituisce 30 franche svizzeri.,,, Signori non siamo a St Moritz e non abbiamo preso ostriche e Champagne e poi perché 5 menù con prezzi diversi se siamo solo in 4? Restaurant Chawi's Malanser-Stube, asiatische-, gutbürgerliche Schweizer Küche, Malans Das Essen ist hervorragend und trifft genau meinen anspruchsvollen Geschmack. Eines meiner Lieblings Restaurant. Toller Gastgeber, super Küche, freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Ob thailändische, gutbürgerlich und vegetarisch….im Chawis findet Mann, Frau und Kind, leckere Köstlichkeiten. Besonders schätzen wir auch den „ Gruss aus der Küche“. Da bekommt jeder Gast am Abend eine kostenlose Vorspeise. Ich hoffe das werden Sie beibehalten. Schmeckt immer super lecker. Von mir beide Daumen hoch. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und freu mich Chawis/Malanser Stube in der Nähe zu haben. Gut zu wissen: Chawi's bietet auch...
