I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the burger restaurant Hans im Glück. This was tested during a road trip break. Had a burger here with a liquid avocado preparation inside—it was nice, but the bun was basic, and the meat lacked seasoning. Tasty overall, but nothing memorable. The fries were well-salted but a bit limp, missing that crunch. Place was barely okay. Nicely designed but very tight and packed. Food was good but pricey for what it is (frozen system gastro). The restaurant was quite hot when we visited and together with the uncomfortable benches that lack cushioning it made for a rather uncomfortable experience. Probably designed this way to increase throughput of customers and increase profit. Service was fine, German.
