During our Europe trip with MakeMyTrip, we had dinner at this place situated in a quiet, peaceful area. The location felt safe and away from the usual city noise, which made for a relaxed dining atmosphere. The cleanliness of the restaurant was commendable — the dining area was tidy, and even the restroom was well-maintained, which is always a positive sign when dining out. As for the food, it was standard Indian cuisine — comforting, familiar, and served in decent portions. While not particularly extraordinary, it was satisfying and met expectations, especially after a long day of travel. However, one major downside to the dining experience was the indoor temperature. The restaurant had no air conditioning or even a basic electric fan, which made it uncomfortably warm inside. This significantly affected our comfort while eating. While we understand that locals may not see the need for cooling systems during summer and might even welcome the warmth, it’s important to consider the needs of international tourists — especially those from countries with hotter climates, who expect cool, ventilated spaces during meals. If the restaurant aims to cater to tour groups and travelers from different parts of the world, investing in a few fans or a basic cooling setup would go a long way. It’s a small improvement that could make a big difference in the overall dining experience. Overall, the restaurant was clean and the food was decent, but the lack of ventilation during warm weather definitely needs attention for better...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at an Indian restaurant, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience.
The restaurant had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with colorful decor and soft lighting that created a pleasant ambiance. The staff were friendly and attentive, offering great service throughout our meal.
The menu featured a variety of Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, as well as a range of spice levels to suit different preferences. We started off with some samosas and pakoras, which were crispy and delicious, and the mango lassi was refreshing and creamy.
For the main course, I opted for the chicken tikka masala, which was rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of spices. My dining companions also enjoyed their meals, with the lamb biryani and the paneer makhani receiving high praise.
The sides were equally impressive, with options such as naan bread, to accompany the main dishes.
Overall, I highly recommend this Indian restaurant for anyone looking to experience the delicious flavors and warm hospitality of...
Read moreOrdered a takeaway for pickup. The decor in the restaurant was fantastic. Pickup was ready on time and easily arranged on phone. We ordered Sev Poori, Tandoori Chicken, Nan, Paneer Tikka Masala and Gulab Jamun. Sev Poori was a disaster. They basically put mashed boiled potatoes on top of papri and topped it up with Nylon Sev which is a big deviation from the original recepie (Puri was missing). Tandoori Chicken: Taste was fine, portion was good. Nan: This was good, only one that I know of in Zurich area that nailed it to Indian standards. Paneer Tikka Masala: It looked yellow in color, had lots of cream and to me it looked like someone tried to convert another paneer dish in to Tikka Masala. Tasted ok but nothing close to Paneer Tikka...
