What a great (and totally random) find. We were looking for a place for a quick dinner and this was one of the few open restaurants in the area on a Sunday evening.
The staff is very friendly, which sadly is becoming more and more rare here in Switzerland. Also very international.
The food was great. Our Italo-Turkish pizzaiolo cooked us some fantastic pizzas with his wood-fired oven. We’re just back from Tuscany and we had better pizzas here in Orbe than Italy, I’m not kidding. Pasta for the kids was also great (although overcooked, but that’s ok for kids) and the portion was more than sufficient for a famished 5yo.
The location is nice with a small terrace. Nothing crazy since it’s in the middle of old town and next to a street, but still very pleasant on a hot summer evening.
Prices very fair.
And the best… they actually had Guinness! Yes, I know that bottled Guinness is a big no-go, but honestly, we’re in the middle of the Gros-de-Vaud, just the fact that it was available is amazing.
Definitely a place we’ll be...

On the top of that, my 5yo son and myself woke up with diarrhea and he also threw up. The only positive thing was that the waitress offered some Gelato to my son. Won't go back there anymore for sure what a waste a restaurant like that in...
