My recent visit to this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the pleasant and cozy atmosphere set the tone for a memorable dining experience. The interior exudes warmth and comfort, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed meal. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive. They were always ready and quick to assist with requests, adding to the welcoming ambiance. Now, onto the highlight: the food. The dishes served here are incredibly delicious, but the trout deserves a special mention! It was, without a doubt, the best-cooked trout I have ever tasted. The flesh, which had a nice pinkish hue, suggested it might have been rainbow trout!? The flavors were exquisite, and what surprised me the most was how delectable the fish skin was. I typically don't eat fish skin, but this was the tastiest I’ve ever encountered, crispy and flavorful. For dessert, I tried the Pain Perdu caramel, which was another first for me. It was a perfect ending to the meal, matching the quality and taste of the main course. The dessert was rich and indulgent, yet balanced and delightful. To top off this wonderful experience, the restaurant offers a stunning view of Lac Retaud. As if planned by nature itself, a rainbow appeared over the lake, creating a picturesque and serene backdrop to an already perfect evening. In conclusion, whether you're a local or a visitor, this place is a must-visit for an unforgettable...

Part of me wants to keep this place a secret, but the incredible staff deserves all the recognition. This is heaven on earth. Benoit, CC, Tom, Leah, and the entire team go above and beyond—not just with impeccable service, outstanding food, and expertly curated wine, but even with impromptu blues guitar sessions during breakfast that make the experience unforgettable.

Located next to the stunning Lac Retaud, just a short walk from Glacier 3000 and a stone’s throw from Les Diablerets, this auberge defines secluded luxury—not in an over-the-top way with golden bathtubs, but in the kind of way that feels like something out of a movie. Whether summer or winter, the breathtaking views, crisp mountain air, and perfect tranquility make it one of the most magical places in the world.

The exclusivity only adds to its charm—you can only reach it on foot (or by snowmobile!), and after an incredible meal, you can ski straight down. The cozy rooms complete the experience, with a silence so pure you sleep like a newborn.

I've been lucky enough to visit multiple times, and on my latest trip with my 11-year-old nephew, he summed it up best: "I feel like a VIP."

If you ever have the chance to experience this place, cherish it. It’s...

This place is special. The rooms are cosy, comfy, newly renovated and perfect for a few nights of mountain air and good hearty Swiss food. The entire team works so hard, and creates a wonderful stay, dinner and breakfast. There are 5 rooms, at night it’s feels like being alone on the Swiss alps. An easy going place, delicious food, and a very pro team. The place for dinner was fully booked! Thanks for such a wonderful time.

Ps. Fishing and swimming is possible in the lake. The windows had screens so bugs weren’t an issue. In the room there were plenty of towels, a hair/body wash, tv, hair dryer, luggage rack. The bed was very comfy....
