Beppi — Restaurant in Rapperswil-Jona

Visited after 10 years living abroad. It's not as good as before. We were a walk-in of 5 people, were recommended a window table for only four. Were then offered a bigger table when we moved additional chair. Ordered Rivella blau, but got red one. There seems to be a language barrier somewhere (our local friend did order in Swiss German though). Spaghetti was nice pizzas were OK but quite big. Pizzas are very hard to cut. Not sure if it was the bottom of the pizzas or the un-sharp knives. Were disappointed as the memories did not match...

Nice Italian restaurant that serves a large variety of different pizzas to pastas. Service is very friendly and the food is delicious according to my taste. The size of the portions is very generous. Am letzten Sonntag waren wir eine Gruppe die zum Essen dort waren. Viele Jahre war ich total gerne dort, doch diesmal wohl das letzte mal. Service war nicht zu gebrauchen, niemand konnte dort richtig Deutsch, eine Pizza wurde vergessen zu servieren, die kam dann irgendwann, 1 Salat wurde falsch gebracht, als ich ihn zurück brachte verstand niemand wieso. Der Service kam nie um zu fragen ob wir noch was möchten, auch keine Nachfrage ob wir noch ein Dessert möchten. Und es hatte wirklich sonst fast keine Gäste, also an Arbeit konnte es nicht liegen. Die Pizzas kamen kalt an. Und um 16 Uhr kam dann die Serviertochter und 1 Kellner und haben abgerechnet, so zum sagen, jetzt geht. Dann gab es Unreimheiten weil irgendwie noch 14.- zu wenig bezahlt wurde, aber sagen was fehlt konnten sie nicht. Wir haben es dann halt bezahlt nur dass die ganze Gruppe gehen konnte. Schade fürs Beppi, es war mal früher wirklich ein tolles Restaurant. Als wir gingen war vom Personal niemand dort, um Aufwiedersehen zu sagen. Sowas geht...
