Hotel & Restaurant Bahnhof — Restaurant in Reichenbach im Kandertal

We have brought the young musicians from the Yehudi Menuhin School to the Gstaad festival every other year for the last 19 years and in recent years have always stayed here. The family are so welcoming and helpful and provide the good food at odd hours which musicians require.||||Th front rooms have beautiful views over Saanenland and up towards Gstaad. They are not luxurious but are comfortable, charming and very clean.||||The bircher-muesli is a bit of a joke - apparently the Swiss guests have stopped eating so it's only made on request or when they know we are coming - our kiddies gobble up great bowlsful.||||Looking forward to our last...

I recently stayed for 7 nights at the Hotel Bahnhof in Reichenbach and recommend it for the friendly welcome, spotless rooms and excellent food. It is a small hotel but caters for the local community and the restaurant is popular with those visiting the area. The other advantage for me was its proximity of the railway station just across the road. However, that may be a downside for some as freight trains run all night.
