So where can I start... Hospitality 0 ,service 0,Food... I don't know and I don't care anymore. ||My reasons? Arrived at 11:50 ,and I asked if I could park in the parking space and after come to eat. The lady with the shorter hair didn't let me finish and she said directly I have to go down to town again park there and the's come up with the funicular. OK so I did it.||Then around 12:45 we decided to go back and eat something before leaving back home.we didn't have to wait for much time and the drinks came inside 7 minutes protocol.||We ordered just befire 13:00 , one schweinschnitzel with fries and one allen macarroni(pasta).||No one came to our table in 25 min,not even to tell us the was a delay in the kitchen, and I could have understand.||At 13:30 ,still without no food, I got a bit uncomfortable so I decided to go an pay our drinks and leave.||But, in my surprise,the make waiter,the rudest one,started yelling at me ,I find it UNPROFESSIONAL AND VERY WRONG HIS AGGRESIVE MANNERS,he even gave me the sensation he was going to throw some kind of punch. On my way out,the same lady that attended ME in the morning even said I was in the wrong restaurant... She right... NO PROFESSIONAL STAFF, NO HOSPITALITY,NO FRIENDLY AMBIENT AND PLEASE, TO DO A SCHNIZTEL AND A PASTA JUST TAKES BETWEEN 9-14 MINUTES,IF YOURE ARE OVERBOOKED GET MORE STAFF(ITS MORE IMPORTANT THE CUSTOMER WITH MASERATI)OR MORE EFFICIENT. OR THE BEST RECOMMENDATION A CAN GIVE AS MANAGER OF VARIOUS HOTELS AROUND THE WORLD... CHANGE USELESS STAFF ,SPECIALLY WHEN THE CANNOT HANDLE A RESTAURANT LIKE THAT ONE. luckily,we drove for 10minutes And found better place with proffesionals. Even the male server,wanted me to pay for the food that he didn't serve and wanted me to call the police... Read moreWe stayed here for a week and found it most enjoyable. They have five comfortable double rooms, three ensuite, and two with balconies. The other two rooms share a bathroom which is set in between the two rooms and is great for a family or two couples. The view from all the rooms is towards Hasliberg, and overlooking Meiringen in the valley. Here, you can certainly feel the moods of nature and its beauty. There is the parking lot for guests just outside the hotel/restaurant. A perfect asset is that you get a free pass for the local bus for the whole time of stay. You can travel all the way to Grindelwald. The bus passes through once an hour and stops just outside the hotel. The hike and walk possibilities nearby are never-ending. The hotel/restaurant is perched just above the Reichenbach Falls, so you can always hear the sound of the falls in the background. The terrace offers fantastic views. The food served is good and a lot of the ingredients are local. We also enjoyed the selection of special Swiss wines. The hotel offers the possibility of booking half-board. Breakfast offers something for everybody. Life quietens down as soon as the last bus has gone through and you sometimes feel as if you were just living...
