Restaurant La Stazione Pizzeria Kurier — Restaurant in Schwerzenbach

La Stazione is a family friendly place known to locals; you wont find any tourists here. They have a menu with a wide range of items that includes very good pizza, gyros, cordon blue, salads, desserts and other foods predominantly found in the german/italian style kitchen (gyros excepted of course). A decent bar and wine list make for a well rounded experience. The interior is cosy, with tables and chairs arranged in bistro/brasserie type set up. Prices are fair and food quality is good. A free wifi guest network was available at the time of the visit. I personally tried the pizza several times and the cordon blue. They have a dedicated kids menu which seems to be liked...

The pizza was okay and I would have given a 4 star rating if it wasn't for the delivery service. Yesterday we ordered Pizza on the phone. It was 5 min before 2. I asked if we could have the lunch special which includes a Salad. The person on the phone confirmed. However, once the delivery guy arrived, there was no Salad and we had to pay the normal price (not lunch special). The reasoning of the delivery guy was that it was after 2 pm. If this would have been said on the phone, that is one thing. But telling the customer they will get the lunch special and then not honoring that...

Wahnsinnig miserabler Service!

Anfangs wurden wir sehr schnell bedient, zwei kleine Gläser mit einer leicht orangenen Flüssigkeit und Eis wurden uns gereicht. Keine Aufklärung worum es sich denn dabei handelt. Leider für uns auch komplett undefinierbar, es war nicht mal klar ob darin nun Alkohol enthalten ist, oder nicht. Schwarze Oliven waren auf dem Tisch, als kleiner Apéro, sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen kam sehr flott, die Pizza war auch lecker, jedoch nichts Spezielles. Nach dem abräumen der Teller wurden wir komplett ignoriert. Man wurde weder nach Kaffee noch Dessert gefragt. Es war nicht viel los und es wurde zu zweit Serviert. Nachdem wir mehrmals um Aufmerksamkeit gebeten haben kamen wir dann mal zum gewünschten Espresso. Auch nachdem dieser leer war, interessierte man sich nicht mehr für uns. Zum bezahlen mussten wir wieder auf uns Aufmerksam machen, dies habe ich auch bei allen anderen Tischen beobachtet. Einer nach dem anderen versuchte verzweifelt bedient zu werden. Wir haben beobachtet wie alle beim bezahlen einen Limoncello gereicht bekamen, diesen hat man bei uns wohl vergessen. Das darf einfach nicht passieren. Alles in Allem ein Reinfall, wir werden wohl nicht mehr...
