We stopped on the way to Zurich to enjoy the lake view.Found this place right about the lake.When we walked in first thing we noticed it’s terrible smell. No one gritted us so we just sat behind the table. Menu was in German so waiter pointed his finger into the menu and he said “chicken”.We where hungry so so we said yes.After placing order we noticed that table cloths was dirty as well as napkins,basically everything around.We change our order to only 1 chicken.And let me tell you, im not much a reviewer but that was terrible.They dipped deep fried half of the chicken in some milky sauce and charged us 30€.Smell was just disgusting,we couldn’t even touch it, so we paid and left. So if you want yo see lake and happen to find this place just keep driving.1 star only...

The restaurant has a special location that offers a breathtaking view of Lake Lucerne. It is the perfect place to stop for a refreshment while passing through from the south to the north of Switzerland and enjoy the mountain-lake scenery.

The food itself is rather bland and the service, while nice, cared less about the cleanliness of the tables, so they weren't really cleaned briefly before the new guest was seated.

The prices are also rather expensive.

Fangen wir mit den Postiven Aspekten an. Die Aussicht ist einfach traumhaft, was für ein wunderschöner Ort mit atemberaubender Aussicht. Ich wurde schnell bedient und es standen aufgespannte Sonnenschirme auf der Terasse. Die Getränke waren kühl serviert worden und die Gläser waren sauber. Nun leider zum weniger erfreulichen: Ein Servicemitarbeiter kam, kurz nachdem ich aus dem Auto gestiegen bin auf mich zu gestürmt und äusserte sich hektisch "ich solle an den Tisch kommen, das Essen werde kalt" Dies kam mir schon sehr schräg rein. Am Strassenschild steht Pizzaria, von Pizza war auf der Karte jedoch nichts zu erkennen. Der Ersatz Flammkuchen für fast 30.-. Bestellt habe ich den Furstkäsesalat, leider war nur sehr wenig Wurst darauf. Deklarationen hatte es keine auf der Karte, das Service Personal wusste auch nicht genau was genau alles auf dem Teller war, bzw. woher die Zutaten stammen. In der Zentralschweiz an einem solchen Hystorischen Ort dürfte ich erwarten dass regionale Produkte verwendet werden. Naja.. der Tisch war mit Asche bedekt, wurde aber bald mal abgewischt als ich mich hinsetzte. Allgemein merkt mann das vorallem an der Einrichtung und allgemein gespart wird, auch auf dem Teller. Schade schade dass ein solcher Ort.. so geführt wird..da könnte man mit wenig Auffand so viel mehr herausholen. wenn man an einem solchen Kulturreichen, Historischen Ort ein Restaurant fürht sollte man doch wenigsten richtig Deutsch können und die Schweizer Kultur würdig vertreten.
