We were coming there on a spontaneous trip around Lake Lucerne and we just wanted to drink something and then go ahead. But fortunately we got a bit hungry and ordered the dish of the day. We got a pork steak with fries and a beer for each of us for under 50 francs and the quality was really good. The waitress was a little slow and unfortunately the restaurant is not accessible with the boat anymore since they decided to assess the landing stage and mark it as unsafe. The beer garden provides a beautiful view on the alps.

The See Restaurant Tellsplatte at the Urnersee is located along the path "Weg der Schweiz", a wonderful hiking trail. The restaurant is at the "Tellsplatte" ship port in the Sisikon community, just a few minutes from the "Tellskapelle". The restaurant is a welcome place along the path where you can enjoy just a drink or a full lunch. The food and the service by Roman and Gabriela Gick, are great. The terrace of the restaurant borders the lake in an unbeatable location. Great stop on the hiking trail.

Der absolute Hammer ein Highlight welches 5 Sterne mehr als verdient. Bewertungen in Portalen wie google, TripAdvisor, etc. interessieren uns nur sehr bedingt. Beim Seerestaurant Tellsplatte mussten wir einfach einen Eintrag machen. Denn solche Einträge wie vor kurzem mit Bewertungen von 1 Stern, obwohl man anscheinend nicht mal Gast war, fanden wir eine bodenlose Frechheit und die beiden Verfasser sollten von google gesperrt werden. Das Seerestaurant liegt direkt am Urnersee und ist eine Oase der Ruhe und Erholung gespickt mit toller Atmosphäre sowie originellen Speisen und einer freundlichen, Orts- und fachkundigen Wirtin, welches seines gleichen sucht. Der Abstieg ist sicher nicht ohne, wer aber lesen kann, sieht schon vor dem runterlaufen wie weit es sein wird und ob es sich wegen den speziellen Öffnungszeiten (Samstag, Sonn- und Feiertag) lohnt, runterzulaufen. Was wir sehr speziell fanden, das Seerestaurant bietet seinen Gästen, welche den Aufstieg nur sehr schlecht meistern können, nach den Hauptservicezeiten einen Shuttleservice zum Parkplatz an, diesen Service haben auch wir sehr gerne in Anspruch genommen und finden es eine sehr tolle und gästefreundlichen Idee. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, denn einen Aufenthalt im Seerestaurant bei der Schiffstation ist wie Ferien.

When I was taking a walk along the shores of Lake Lucerne I found this magnificent terrace near the lake and at the Tellsplatte boat terminal where I could relax and enjoy a magnificent cappuccino with incredible views over Lake Lucerne located in the Sisikon area. This place can be accessed via boat across the lake or via the famous Axentrasse by car and then you can walk for 5 minutes to the place. Pleasant walk, incredible...
