Restaurant UTO KULM - Top of Zurich — Restaurant in Stallikon

It was a super hot day and it happened that the train going up was cancelled. So we called and spoken to a lady who gave us direction to take a tram and then hop into a train but her advise was not so clear that we ended up walking up the road looking for a train station if only she would be specific and say walk towards the hospital. I only knew it was a mistake after we walked up more than 30 mins reaching no station. Calling again spoken to a man this time and he mentioned to walk towards hospital but that already past us so not walking back. Cut story short we walked almost 50mins in the scorching heat to reach a station finally!!. Reached the restaurant after another 10mins walk and yes the view was beautiful till we ate our lunch. We ordered starters which was salad and vitello tornarto which was just ok. We ordered chicken curry as a main. Oh my what a big mistake. The chicken must be frozen when they cooked it and they add just curry powder so it has no taste and it taste worst than canteen food. I was terribly disappointed and told the waiter. His reply: “i will inform chef”. Will not come back again to this horrendous place. Look at the photo and you be the judge at the watery curry. If you cannot offer such basic menu take it off the menu and offer...

Na ich weiss gar nicht wo anfangen…. Waren im alegra restaurant mit unseren Mitarbeiter zum dinieren. Zum start lief eigentlich noch alles gut. Apero genommen , Speisen ausgesucht… Der Höhepunkt vom ganzen Abend sind eigentlich nur die Vorspeisen.. Sehr gepflegt angerichtet ...und sehr lecker . Die 2 Sterne sind nur für die brigade/ Koch der kalte Küche ! Der Hauptgang war , na ja so lala… Das Rind zb. war zwar schön zart aber da sollte man sich wirklich grössere größere Mühe geben beim anrichten . Das sah sowas von schrecklich auf den Teller aus … Der Risotto über denn ganzen Teller geschmiert , und ungepflegt serviert absolut keine Garnitur , rein gar nixx und das für 59 fr ??? Alter Schwede !!! Die rösti war genau so schrecklich ! Billige oder falsche Kartoffelsorte ? Ein Problem mit der Heizung ,Zuluft oder Abluft scheint ihr auch zu haben . Während dem ganzen Abend war reiner Durchzug im ganzen Restaurant, furchbar ,in jedere Ubahn hat es nicht so ein Durchzug wie in diesem Restaurant !! 2 mal dem Kellner erwähnt , das 1 mal : ich geh mal schauen... das 2te mal : da können wir nicht viel machen .... Dann haben wir halt mit den Jacken gegessen und die Kerzen haben Samba getanzt auf dem Tisch . Der totale Desaster Oscar geht an die Nachspeisen ! Möchte jetzt zwar nicht jede einzeln aufzählen , aber sorry auch hier sah es auf dem Teller schrecklich aus  nichts ausgarniert und absolut schrecklich unprofessionell angerichtet. Der baba au rhum war sicher hausgemacht , aber da hat der Konditor sicher ein falsches Rezept erwischt ,!! Steinhaart in der mitte , absolut nicht nach Rhum geschmeckt , ausser nach Zuckerwasser !! Gratis tip : Probiert mal pauli rezept seite 348 . Wird sicher 1000 mal besser. Komisch war aber das die schoko lebkuchen terrine sehr schön und gepflegt garniert wurde ,dafür die 7 anderen Dessert absolut nicht . Hier sollte man den patissier wohl auswechseln , dass sah wie geschiessen auf dem teller aus , und bei jeder Landbeiz sieht es besser aus ! Habt ihr auch Berufsköche in ihrer Brigade ?? Der Kellner war zwar sehr net aber leider viel zu abwesend , daher warscheinlich mit anderen Gästen viel zu tun gehabt und sonst zu wenig Mitarbeiter anwesend. Die 2 te Weinflasche blieb dann halt weg , daher wir schon fertig waren mit essen … und vorher niemand da war. Der Hund war dank dem Kellner aber sehr zufrieden. ( sollte man auch erwähnen ) Und was die kaffeemaschine angeht im Restaurant ,schmeißt sie denn Berg runter  ! Absolut nutzlos heut zu tage ohne Milchsystem ! 20h Espresso und Kaffee bestellt inkl. Latte, cappuccino und Schale . Expresso und kaffe erhalten. 20h20 late, Schale ,Capucinno serviert, nach 2 x ins ug quer durch denn Berg wieder 1 stock hoch oder wie geht das genau????zum Milchkaffee holen !?

Naja langsam gegangen ….. zum Abschied war niemand da zum sich verabschieden Obwohl wir ja nicht schnell gegangen sind .

Vor paar Jahren waren wir voll begeistert von der küche.. Heut zu tage wirklich horror .

So oder so … kommen hier 10 einheimische nicht mehr kommen dafür 20 Touristen dafür ….interessiert eh niemanden.

So when we first came here we arrived at a ground area ish place but after that we walked up a kinda long pathway but it was okay so when we came up there was a area which looked a lot like a camping place but it wasn’t that. We walked around a bit and then we saw this HUGE tower which was cool and we walked a little longer up until we came to the main place/area area and that was when I realized that we were really high up on a mountain and that was when we saw Zürich by the bottom of our feet this view was incredible and and that was when the beforeparty or something started and we were in a little area where there were beautiful tree chairs And tables and there were chips which were good. Not long after the dinner started and we had very good bread and butter. After that the staff asked for what we wanted and I had the pasta with tomato sauce and it was fantastic delicious fabulous and very good. And after that I went out and got a very good ice cream and...
