We had dinner there several times. Fish seemed good according to my friends. I had the vegetarian curry that was the only veg option. Curry is very good but you need to ask for it less hot. Only 1 veg dish is one less star. There is no excuse nowadays not to have at least 2 options (and pasta is not an option!) For dessert we had the "fruit glacé" and I must say this is very interesting and good. At last something a bit different from the usual fondant au chocolat.

Jun 23 Excellent meal on the terrace. The Daurade (sea bream) on special was excellent. Prepared by slow cooking and served with aubergine, rice; a combination that worked well. They had a choice of wine by the glass which I think varies from day to day. Good service. Apr 22 We had an excellent meal from the daily lunch menu at a reasonable price. Relaxing place to be and good service.

EXCELLENT ! Nous avons profité de le réouverture des restaurants pour tester celui-ci... Et nous en sommes ravis. L'accueil et le service très sympathiques, ils sont souriants, aimables, connaissent le contenu de leur carte et les subtilités des préparations. La nourriture est absolument savoureuse. Tataki de filet de bœuf en entrée, Curry thaï aux gambas et filet de bœuf en plat, puis cheesecake en dessert, succulent ! Le tout dans un cadre calme et agréable. Le restaurant dispose d'une terrasse au soleil devant et d'une terrasse ombragée sur le côté. Je recommande !

This hôtel is by the small village square of Tannay just up from the railway station, the main road and the lake. It is very peacful and ideal for sunny days such as when we were there. There is some private and some public on-street parking.||We walked to Coppet to visit the chàteau and the town, it was about 20 minutes away.||The rooms were a reasonable size with excellent facilities.||We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant, there was a good selection of dishes on the menu and wines on the wine list. In the morning we had our breakfast out on the terrace in the sun.||They also provided a take-away service for pizza.||The staff were very helpful and efficient and we would certainly use this...

We randomly ended up booking a room here as it was our first visit to Switzerland and everything about it was wonderful. So wonderful in fact, that we came back and stayed again the following evening .. The Auberge was beautiful , staff so kind, rooms were spotless with nice decor , very well priced , the plaza out front was so cute and bakery nearby delicious and filled with locals . We even lucked out and got to watch a free Jazz concert at a locals mansion down the road. We had a couple of drinks but did not eat however it was busy both nights and the dining room was beautifully laid out.. Definitely recommend Auberge Au Lion d’Or...
