Wirtshaus zur Trostburg — Restaurant in Teufenthal

We specially went to Wirthaus zur Trosburg to try the romanian specialties. Once we got there I couldn't resist to order one of the stars of the menu - the crispy pork knuckle (Knusprige Schweinhaxen) - which is more an austrian dish, and ... oh boy! What an experience it was ! One piece was more than enough for two people, and the taste, look and feel was gorgeous and delicious in the same time! I will add it on my favourite dish list 😁 When I look at the pictures I made I still see it in front of my eyes with that delicious crispy crust !!! Absolutely stunning! All the food we had was very good and the portions were big. As dessert we tried the Kaiserschmarrn - this was another nice surprise, very tasty! The waiter was very kind and prompt. The owner, Carmen - a very nice and pleasant person - spent some time with us telling more about the restaurant, the team behind and about the dishes they prepare. I cannot give less than 5 stars to all sections! Definitely we will...

Hier ist Geschmack und Gastfreundlichkeit an erster Stelle, nicht der günstigste Preis (was nix kostet, is nix wert).😉

Meine Partnerin und ich machten gestern ne Radltour und hatten uns das Restaurant wegen dem Kaiserschmarrn als Ziel gesetzt! Aber wir bekamen so viel mehr, ganz abgesehen davon, dass der Kaiserschmarrn frisch und der Wahnsinn war!!! 🤤 Man bekommt ned nur a Schnitzl - sondern "DAS Schnitzl" mit richtigem Kartoffelsalat - lauwarm! 🤘🏻 Ich selbst 🇦🇹-er kam mit ihr gleich ins Gespräch und so erfuhr ich, dass es auch andere Speisen gibt die grade ned auf der Karte waren und mit Serviettenknödel & Co hat sie mein Gaumenherz sofort erobert. Nach dem Essen durften wir sie noch besser kennenlernen und wie viele hier schon beschrieben haben, ist sie eine tolle Persönlichkeit, das sich in der Qualität der Gerichte wieder spiegelt!👌🏻 Also einfach kommen, bissl Zeit mitbringen und genießen!
