erMarina, Event-& Gastroschiff, Hafen Ermatingen — Restaurant in Thurgau

We had such a lovely time here. The food was wonderful. Everyone had fish and everyone was happy with every course. Everything was perfectly crispy and well seasoned. The portions were also generous. The service was also really good. The chef came out to greet us and like our waitress he was also very friendly, professional and accommodating. It must be a nice place to work because you could tell the staff is passionate about the ship and their customers. The atmosphere was also nice and cozy. The decorations were tasteful and contributed to a lovely ambiance. Some of the pictures of the ship’s interior here on google really does not do it justice. We will definitely come again! My only feedback which we forgot to mention to the staff, was that some of the members of our party thought the dining room...

Great place really. So I made a reservation but it wasn’t too busy when I went around 630. Carful going from the pier to the boat the stairs can sometimes move and not be properly secured. If you knock on the door the waitress will help. Really friendly waitress. The moving of the boat takes a couple min to get used to. The option to close curtains or open windows was nice. There wasn’t too many options for food but I had the lamb and it was amazing but the veggies were a little weird. It was pretty pricey. My waitress poured my glass of tea into a cup for me and I sipped it, to my surprise there were cobwebs in the glass… kinda gross. Anyway I asked for a second glass later on and she forgot. Das "Restaurant" / erMarino Gastroschiff liegt im Winter 24/25 im Hafen von Kreuzlingen. Wir habe dort zu fünft zu Mittag gegessen und waren begeistert. Sämtliche Speisen und Getränke, inkl. Apero und Beilagen wie z.B. das Brot zum Salat waren tadellos, frisch und sehr, sehr schmackhaft. Ich bin wirklich sehr begeistert. Hier ist ein Koch am Werk, der sein Handwerk gelernt hat und versteht. Zudem bietet das Schiff im seinem kleinen Speisesaal ein schönes und geschmackvolles Ambiente. Die Hintergrundmusik war anfangs etwas lauter, eber der Kellner hat sie auf unsere Bitte hin anstandlos etwas leiser gestellt.

Bei der Bezahlung liesen wir die Rechnung auf 2 Familien auftrennen, was für die Bedienung sicherlich ein etwas mühsamer "Mehraufwand" bedeutet. Mag sein, dass darum beide Rechnungen kleine Fehler aufwiesen (zu viel verrechnet), auf die der äusserst freundliche Kellener etwas unbeholfen reagiert hat. Letzten Endes habe wir dann einfach das, was zu viel auf der Rechnung stand, dem Trinkgeld angerechnet und den Kellner entsprechend darauf hingewiesen. Aber nochmals; dahinter bestand keine Absicht und die Bediendung war tadellos.
