After a healthy walk up the hill I found friendly smiling and fast staff. Delicious food exactly what I wanted. Staffed zucchini on the menu came with tomato based gazpacho-like soup, salad and bread. The Zucchini was delicate in flavor, cooked through yet retained crunchy texture. The sérac stuffing made it substantial- perfect. The “soup” on the other had was a firework of flavors as a perfect company. Well balanced in sweetness and acidity with distinctive tomato flavor with a pleasantly prickling pepper flavor appearing and lingering a while after I finished. With the salad on the slate it was a beautiful and delicious meal. Dessert - trio crème brûlée pistachio, classic vanilla and ovomaltine (chocolate). All delicious, but pistachio my favorite. What a joy.

This restaurant provides for a wonderful experience. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Clearly enjoying their jobs and the customers. Coming twice, I first had the burger and was blown away. Delicious 😋 The second time I took a local speciality Croûte au Fromage Marmotte - perfect for lunch before a hard afternoon skiing. It’s heavy with a mountain of melted cheese, and tasty to the last mouthful. Polished off with a delicious coffee to get you going. And all of this on a terrace with breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps. A memorable experience.

J'ai eu le plaisir de découvrir le restaurant de montagne Les Marmottes à Verbier. Niché au cœur des montagnes, cet établissement offre une atmosphère chaleureuse et conviviale, parfaite pour se détendre après une journée de ski en hiver ou une redonnée en été. La fondue aux tomates que j'ai dégustée était tout simplement délicieuse. Le fromage fondant et savoureux se mariait parfaitement avec la saveur subtile de la tomate. Chaque bouchée était un véritable régal pour les papilles. De plus, la planchette de charcuterie qui accompagnait la fondue était généreuse et variée, avec une sélection de viandes de qualité et de condiments savoureux. Le service au restaurant Les Marmottes était impeccable. Le personnel était attentif, amical et toujours prêt à répondre à nos besoins. L'ambiance du restaurant était chaleureuse et authentique, avec une décoration rustique qui ajoutait au charme de l'endroit. Les grandes fenêtres offraient une vue imprenable sur les montagnes enneigées, créant ainsi une atmosphère magique. En ce qui concerne les prix, je les ai trouvés raisonnables compte tenu de la qualité des plats et du service offerts. De plus, la quantité de nourriture servie était généreuse, ce qui en faisait un excellent rapport qualité-prix. En résumé, le restaurant de montagne Les Marmottes à Verbier est un véritable joyau culinaire. La fondue aux tomates et la planchette de charcuterie étaient délicieuses, le service était impeccable et l'ambiance était chaleureuse. Si vous êtes à la recherche d'une expérience gastronomique mémorable dans un cadre montagnard pittoresque, je vous recommande vivement de visiter Les Marmottes.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, winter and summer alike. Food is great, service is good and you are usually rewarded for having walked up to this place (about 1h walk from Verbier place centrale, plus minus). Highly recommend booking or you’ll be disappointed. All traditional Swiss foods can be found here from fondue, croute au fromage or rösti. I had a croûte au fromage/jambon/oeuf which was great. Prices are not cheap as everywhere in Verbier (80 CHF for two).

I had the mushroom fondue and tarte tatin. Both were incredible. It is well worth hiking up and luging/skiing down, maybe better to do this in the daytime to enjoy beautiful views of Verbier
