The welcome was very charming (cook and service) and the location seemed much brighter than what I recalled. I totally recommend the "Friture d'éperlans" as a tapas/starter which is a very good portion to share for 2 accompanied by a nice glas of Primitivo di Manduria. As a main we chose the "selle de chevreuil désossée" (only during automn). The meat was very delicious and perfectly cooked and the sides were perfectly adding all the optional sides. The negative point was that the plate was cold and the sides on the plate like warm when served so every thing was cold in a very short time. The sauce as announced on the menu "jus de chevreuil" is very far from the real traditional sauce "chasse" called "Gran veneur" which you really should look for when choosing game dishes. After reading many negative reviews, we were a bit apprehensive coming here but we were gladly surprised by the food and service honestly. The restaurant is definitely understaffed but if you come a little early, you’ll experience a great service. And the food was actually very tasty and very well cooked!
