Casa Lana — Restaurant in Zollikofen

We were on a trip to Switzerland and visited a couple different cities throughout the country, and this was hands down the best restaurant we went to on our whole trip. The food was absolutely incredible. Each person in our group of 7 ordered something different and I tried all of their dishes. There wasn’t a single dish I didn’t like. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. I also got the homemade panna cotta for dessert and it was incredible. Our server was amazing as well. He was so kind and helpful, and so was the rest of the staff. We felt right at home. I would like to end this review with a quote from my sister in law: “You know how when you overeat and you feel like you’re gonna die? When we saw the 5 star reviews, we wondered was it really possible, but WOW Casa Lana did not disappoint. Our family tried several different dishes and every dish was amazing! The texture of the homemade pasta was the best we have ever had. The sauces and ingredients were so fresh. Our only wish was that this restaurant would be in Canada not Bern because the commute is a little far. We will come back on our next trip to Switzerland for sure!
