Ristorante Rosengarten — Restaurant in Zollikon

If you're in Zollikerberg and looking for a nearby restaurant, this is one of them. I haven't been to this restaurant in years and it has stayed true to the old style. Only, the former Italian restaurant has been upgraded to a multi cuisine where it now offers Italian and Indian cuisine. The menu offers an extremely large selection, so I was honestly overwhelmed and it took me a long time to decide. The food was okay and I would think that they could break down the menu to focus on the individual dishes and increase the quality that way. We had dinner with friends at the restaurant. The location is convenient for families with small children because there is a big public playground next to the restaurant. Unfortunately the restaurant is next to the main street and the traffic noise is disturbing. We ordered take away pizzas there before, which were always decent. But eating at the restaurant was not a very pleasant experience, because of the really bad service. The waiter was not friendly, the food took very long, extra wishes like bread or another straw were ignored. During the meal we ordered more water and wine and they never brought it. I recently visited Rosengarten and was pleasantly surprised by the variety on their menu. I tried both their pizza and Indian dishes, and everything was fantastic!

The pizza had a perfectly crispy crust, rich tomato sauce, and fresh toppings. The cheese was melted to perfection, making every bite enjoyable. As for the Indian food, the flavors were authentic and well-balanced. The butter chicken was creamy and full of spice, and the naan was fresh and fluffy.

The service was friendly, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. Whether you're craving Italian or Indian, this place has something for everyone....
