北埔登富茶坊 — Restaurant in Beipu

This place has one of the best hakka cuisine dishes you can find in Beipu! It is super authentic both in taste and in the service.

The lady who runs it Ms. Fan is super kind and energetic. She was always making sure that we got our food promptly and even offered us some free snacks after the meal.

The food is just how I remembered it when I was little (I'm of hakka descent). The stir-fries were flavorful and well spiced, the pork knuckles crispy and crackling, and the stewed items just done to perfection.

The town is quiet on a Thursday, liked that no crowd. Food is simple and good. Like the fried pig trotter and oil rice.

Do expect the food to be greasy which is common for Hakka cuisine.

Tastes great / clean environment. It’s a traditional Hakka style restaurant. Therefore you can enjoy manifold Hakka dishes here. There are a lot of people here during the peak time in weekends.
