Pique Nique — Restaurant in Beitou

Ridiculous!!! We waited 50mins for our meals. They didn’t even bother bringing my drink while I was waiting. We were seated upstairs and had to go downstairs twice to talk to them about when we were gonna get our meals. Even after bringing our meals, we had to remind them again about the drinks we ordered.

I asked the waitress why the kitchen took so long and their excuse was that it was because I ordered beef. The waitress told me that it takes time to cook beef. I’ve never heard of beef being cooked for 50mins.

50mins to prepare a dish is outrageous. They didn’t even check on us and updated us about our dish that’s what made me angry. The food was mediocre and not even worth the wait or the price you’re paying. I’m never going back to this place and not even going to recommend this...

Decent place with really yum food. Tomato-based chicken pasta tastes so good that I often add extra noodles to enjoy more. Their french fries is definitely qualified for comfort food. Peanut butter goes perfectly well with their burgers. Another credit for pique nique is it being a kid-friendly restaurant. So parents can chill out while kids read picture books or play with Rody&toy submarines at the corner. I'll definitely pay more visits if my favorite meals slightly...

Run by a mother and son. Food was fantastic. Ordered a chicken with tomato risotto and their specialty burger. Both are recommended with an addition of an ala carte fries. You won't regret coming...
