Ombré — Restaurant in Da'an District

The food was actually quite tasty, we ordered seafood and chicken pastas, they were all well seasoned and you can taste the freshness.

But the portion was sadly poor and the price was also sadly too high. And we went at 7 but the most of desserts were sold out, it was a huge bummer.

There were a lot of teenagers in this restaurant, I bet they went for the vibe and the Instagram worthy decorations, but the seats were too low and the tables were too high, even for myself I am 1.8m tall, still felt struggled while eating.

And also, if you want to create a real antique vibe, your plastic water bottles were way too off from that style, those bottles were not even the same ones, it felt like they bought it from different stores at different times, those bottles are ok for restaurants that priced lower than 200, not a place that charges you over 400 for a small portion of pasta.

Got lucky on a weekend and went in solo. I say lucky because man it’s really crowded for brunch and dinner.

All the entree dishes here are on par with other high end brunch places. Presentation is great, portions are actually generous. Definitely a weekend splurge—but order ahead.

Had the truffle bacon fries and beef tongue risotto. Loved the fries—first time I didn’t feel like I needed extra condiments to eat them.

Love ombré soooooo much. The meals are absolutely amazing, tasty, and smell. The restaurant is decorated comfortable and classical. The flavor of appetizers and main dishes are strong and would be such a great idea to pair with wine or a cocktail. I highly recommend the appetizer, shrimps with mushrooms in spices, this dish will notify your stomach to be ready for a great dinner moment.
