大嬸婆私房菜 — Restaurant in Hengshan

We found this restaurant by accident and it was the most beautiful encounter for the fresh food there brighten our minds and the tastes buds. Plus people there are genuine friendly in hosting us and I notice it’s the same towards other guests too. In short, it’s a very delightful experience!

The Basil Eggplant is our favorite dish for the fresh ingredients (we happened to notice the planted chilies by the window side🌶 probably explain why) and we simply love the eggplants so much.

Ma-Po Tofu has its own characteristic as delicious Hakka style. The tastes goes really good with the plain rice 🍚 and we clean the plate within blinks.

The Crispy Vegetarian Wheat Gluten Chicken with the Thai sweet and sour sauce made a strong impression. It is simply delicious without more descriptions.

In learning from the owner that originally they didn’t mind at all to provide free rice but they were having problem in seeing lots of people didn’t finish the rice to make an unnecessary waste… We tried to pay for another bowl of rice for our kid and he refused our money saying he’s been aware of we eat everything what we ordered.

This is the restaurant I’ll definitely go back again and highly recommendable for vegetarian people to try if you...

2019.9.30(一)上午，隨同團隊在內灣商圈的「大嬸婆私房菜餐廳」舉辦愛灑活動。

八點多，師姊師兄們分工合作布置會場。 近十點，一切就序，各方菩薩陸續雲來集。 十點半，師姊們帶動唱熱鬧開場，接著由兩位老師以自身的經驗故事，現身說法「身心靈調適」與「蔬食愛地球」，參與會眾人人收獲滿滿。

為了這個活動，餐廳主人除了熱心提供場地之外，也全家上下忙忙碌碌的準備了好多豐富、美味、各式各樣的蔬食午膳，在活動圓滿之後供應給眾多的菩薩享用，太感恩了！

今天恰逢颱風假，上午期間，老天爺賜予清涼氣溫、無風也無雨，方便各方菩薩歡喜參與，讓活動得以順利圓滿，太感恩了！

若在假日期間，忙碌的內灣商圈遊客眾多，不容易一窺原貌，難得今日是星期一，上午眾商家們多數休息未營業，清靜的街面正好可以藉機飽覽兒時記憶裡的內灣街景...

「大嬸婆私房菜」店內布置樸實，可以看到許多兒時日常生活裡的物品懸掛在牆上，其中最顯著的要屬國寶漫畫家「劉興欽」老師的精緻作品了。
