大木櫥滷味 — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

第一次吃到「大木櫥滷味」真的超驚艷，身為高雄人竟然之前都沒吃過太誇張了吧～這間位於高雄六合一路的滷味攤，一開門就湧現排隊人潮，不誇張，現場超熱鬧！

我點了超過NT$300的滷味，有米血 (rice blood cake)、香腸 (Taiwanese sausage)、豬肉片 (sliced pork)、滷豆腐 (braised tofu)、豆皮 (bean curd skin)，每一樣都滷得超入味！而且葷素都有選擇，滿足所有人～

現場加熱再調味，最後還會撒上酸菜 (pickled mustard greens)，多了一層清爽解膩的風味，真的好吃到停不下來！整體份量非常有誠意，是我近期最愛的小吃之一！

I was truly surprised by how amazing the Da Mu Chu Lu Wei (大木櫥滷味) tasted! As a Kaohsiung local, I can’t believe this was my first time trying it. 😅

Located on Liuhe 1st Road in Kaohsiung, this famous braised snack stall always draws a crowd once it opens in the evening.

I ordered over NT$300 worth of food and got a HUGE bag of deliciousness – including rice blood cake (米血), Taiwanese sausage (香腸), sliced pork (豬肉), braised tofu (豆腐), and bean curd skin (豆皮). Both vegetarian and meat options are available, which is a big plus.

The ingredients are reheated and seasoned on the spot, topped with pickled mustard greens (酸菜) – it gives the dish a fresh contrast and makes every bite irresistible.

位於高雄市新興區六合路上的《大木櫥滷味》是在當地開業已久、生意非常好的知名老店。店面環境十分簡約乾淨，大部分的滷味都是夾一個當代表即可，除非某些品項是以單一價格計算，才需要依照自己的需求夾取數量。

整體來說，食材都很新鮮且滷得非常入味。雖然對我而言滷汁有點偏甜，但由於可以根據個人口味添加辣椒，這些香辣口味能夠中和滷汁的甜膩感，讓整體味道更加均衡，因此我非常喜歡這種搭配；再加上價錢十分平易近人，很推薦給有到高雄的吃貨朋友們！

It is a well-known shop with a thriving business located in Kaohsiung. The storefront is very simple and clean. For most of the braised dishes, you just need to pick one representative item to go with your meal, unless certain items are priced individually, in which case you can choose the quantity based on your needs.

Overall, the ingredients are fresh and the braising is very flavorful. While the braising sauce is a bit on the sweeter side for me, the option to add chili according to personal taste balances out the sweetness, enhancing the overall taste profile. I really enjoy this combination! Moreover, with very reasonable prices, I highly recommend it to foodies...
