Crisken — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

There's both good and bad here. Had the Ceasar salad combo, burger + chicker combo, and fries. Large salad was very small, but burger was pretty good, and chicken was crispy and moist. However, the bad: the store only had chicken thighs. No wings, no breasts, no legs. I know this is a pandemic and all, but there isn't any excuse for poor inventory planning like that. Its's a chicken restaurant! And despite pictures showing large drinks for the combos, I guess the owner decided to save a few pennies by giving small drinks instead, which was not written on the menu. Crispy chicken spicy burger is very juicy, flavorful and non-greasy. Quite impressed.

The 2-piece drum & leg was also juicy and pepper salt was delicious.

Spicy chicken wing were excellent! Not over cooked, tender and light.

Platter with fries, onion rings and mozzarella sticks was wonderful.

Everything is piping hot bc it’s made fresh, unlike places that pre-fry and let it sit. Cute little joint.

Owner is a Friendly dude. Attentive and tries to accommodate.

Their fries are quite nice but about a couple months ago their '大' portion turned into ..."大" portion and the bag went from being quite full to ...being half empty.
