A beautiful and chill little cafe, with rustic stone walls and wooden tables ~ minimum order for dining in is either one drink or 100nt worth of food per person, which is very affordable and flexible esp because my bf prefers to only get food items at coffeeshops ^^ the iced Americano was yummy, the Madeline was soft and sweet and the scones were delicious too (we got matcha and savory herb, both super good but herb took the crown!)❤

For the atmosphere, the music choice is tasteful, staff is professional and relaxed, atmosphere is perfect to relax for a while on a hot summers day. Only wish I had known they had oatly milk before ordering (definitely would have gotten an oatly latte then!!) and that the AC...

Ruth in Keelung is an absolute treasure. We went for some filter coffees and ended up tasting the entire menu ❤️. The manual pour overs tasted amazing: we tried the Kenyan and the Panamanian filter coffee and then also tried the blend. The milk for the flat white was textured perfectly; it tasted so sweet and so smooth! We also tried some deserts and some cocktails 🌸. Should you ever be in Keelung, try Ruth. We were also lucky to see them roasting inside the coffee shop! It tasted great, freshly roasted coffee and we learnt that the batch that just left the roasting drum was produced by no other than World Barista...

這裡沒有牛排不要跑錯棚，要吃經典鹹食手工炭烤吉古拉，路口轉角五六日請早。

曾幾何時，茹絲咖啡有個公休之亂，休兩天的本店調整成休三天，馬上引來網友負評跟攻擊，一個獨立咖啡店家休三天是要讓基隆市區民不聊生了嗎？年輕世代大概非常難想像我國曾經一個禮拜休1.5天了吧，週六半天班的特殊勞動條件，曾經是每一個僱主認為只要調整就會動搖國本的事情，週休二日這個多年了，老身就問國本動搖了嗎？外匯存底歸零了嗎？？通貨膨脹了嗎？最近熱議的週休三又讓慣老闆們暴跳如雷了，完全不討論配套就對週休三日憤怒，是不是需要身心科的協助？如果第三個休日是無薪假呢？如果員工真的可以四天完成五天的工作呢？

如果回到創業跟獨立經營的領域，一個擁有家庭的創業者到底需要公休幾天才不會家破人亡呢？如果是基礎的餐飲服務業，沒有公休兩到三天真的無法平衡家庭與工作，通常基礎餐飲服務業都很善良的週末跟假日服務客人，讓消費者在自己的修日可以去消費自已喜歡的店家，也就是意味著店家犧牲了自己週末跟家人的相處，創業跟獨立經營裡面多如牛毛貓毛的行政雜項，隨便就可以讓一整個工作天蒸發殆盡，加上開店的前置作業：烘豆、甜點製作、教育訓練等等，店休人未休已經是業界常態，一個無法休息缺乏人際相處的行業又能走得多遠呢？看看越來越多的長照殺人就可以理解，所有辛苦的工作都需要喘息，哪怕是週休六天，唯一營業的一天可能也是經營者用生命擠壓出來的營業日，放過這些辛苦打拼的業者好嗎？也許你特地從很遠的地方來交關一杯飲料，業者怎麼可以剛好公休呢？問題是Googlemap已經用了這麼多年，店家不是有IG就是有粉專，有著無限流量又使用智慧型收機的你，大概很難從很遠的地方來撲空，對吧？你想喝一杯滿意的飲料沒錯，店家不想家破人亡也沒錯，願我們持續做一個互相體諒而且善良的台灣人。

如果你在市區喝一杯海景咖啡，茹絲咖啡不可能讓你失望，車停完工不久的正濱停車場，外帶一杯散步正濱漁港或者一路到和平島，應該能看見過去八年基隆改變多少，一個每年都在進步的港都跟不知道什麼時候才能牽回家的電動機車，不知道怎麼樣才能說服你做出選擇，看到地下道長出塑膠草皮跟拖延不改善瑞芳的民生供水，手上的咖啡的滋味有點複雜呢。
