Fresh & Aged Italian Steak House — Restaurant in Neihu District

Recently dined at Fresh & Aged Italian Steak House for dinner. Located on the second floor, it’s a steak restaurant that primarily offers corn fed beef from the USA.

They offer ale carte as well as a set menu which offers access to their buffer area for salads / appetisers and desserts. Pricing for the set menu varies depending on your main from around 1500 TWD up to 4500 TWD.

We opted for the set menu and the food quality and service was good however relative to the price it wasn’t quite at the level I was expecting. For example, they use plastic supermarket bought salt grinders, they didn’t have hot mustard and they didn’t have any grass fed beef options. None of these are showstoppers however given the price asked, this is difference that one could expect compared to a lower price restaurant.

We tried several kind of steak: the aged steak taste really different if you order different date, some taste like blue cheese; the Wagyu is also good but not good as aged steak (the thinner one). You can get a buy one get one free for any seafood if you ordered aged steak. Seafood platter and lobsters are all good. ($1800for 2)
