I had a rude experience where two Louisa coffee workers were giggling and laughing because I could not understand their Chinese. A few minutes later, I saw the two were still laughing at me. As a foreigner in Taiwan, I felt this entirely disrespectful. I took photos of the two and complained to the manager. I know enough Chinese to know that they were laughing at me because I missed some of what they were asking me...hence, the laughter....but it was mocking rather than merely innocent humor. For this reason, I can't give it more than 3/5.

Read morePretty nice place. Have many seats and most of them have access to outlet. Food and coffee are pretty good with my standard. Have jazz music playing at all time. The music can be blocked if you wear the headset that cover your ears. It can be very crowded during weekend or popular hour. Come early if you want a nice spot.

Read moreTypical Taiwan lack of service. Took 15 minutes for them to take my order. No line. No one in front of me. They seem to be unable to handle more than one order at a time.
When I finally was able to place an order, it took 40 minutes to make a cup of tea and a ham and cheese sandwich.
Do not go here unless you have time and are willing to wait a long time. Definitely do not go...
