There are a lot of tourists here. The noodles are good but not that fantastic to give you the "wow" effect. There is no aircon in this restaurant and it has some old traditional nostalgic decor to bring you back to the good old days.
Service is fast and efficient because there are too many people here and the staff need to rush out the food as soon as possible. Not much personal services such as introducing their signature dishes or favourite drinks.
Parking is a big issue here because there is limited space.
To be frank, this is just a normal good restaurant but because it is located at a good junction whereby all vehicles will bypass, it draws in a lot of crowd. Food: we had the braised pork rice and a variety of side dishes. The rice was made in a traditional recipe way which is lighter than contemporary ones. Side dishes were in small plates so you could order a variety to try. Sauces available but a tad salty.
Service: order by writing on a chit and paying at the counter. Food came pretty fast. No Aircon, but they have sufficient ventilation and a water mist system at the entrance.
