Read moreThis place is such a classic and I find myself coming here as often as possible. It is where you can get one of the most authentic Hakka noodles. I believe they are known for their braised beef noodle soup but I always order the 油麵…. So nostalgic! The portions are huge and usually one order is enough for two people to share. Dine-in typically has a long line but it doesn’t take very long for you to get seated. Take-out is also available. This is the real deal!

Read moreDriver brought us to this apparently famous Hakka joint and highlighted for us to restrain on ordering too much as the portions were huge. What’s popular here is the 猪头肉 noodles and indeed it was. It tasted like Singapore prawn noodles but without the prawn. I do think that they may have been over generous on the MSG too.
Love the cold tofu and century egg combo, need to repeat that at home next time.
The boiled beansprouts were amazing too, very crunchy.
