A-Ming, the Thai chef and manager, came to Taiwan to live with his mother and sister since he was a child. We had to exchange a noodle which was stated as non spicy on the menu for my 2-year old because it turned out to be spicy, I told her nicely about it and even apologized for the trouble. However she rudely commented ‘it is not spicy, how is it spicy?’, and only stopped after her cook confirmed with her that it is indeed spicy. Note that I did not return the spicy noodle since it is already served, but exchanged my white rice which were not served yet for another plate of non-spicy noodle.
