Win Chang Beef Soup Anping Main Shop — Restaurant in Tainan

This place definitely has one of the best beef soups I've ever had! (We went there a bit earlier for lunch and it was the right decision, because once we finished eating and left, we saw a line outside the store. Yes, it's THAT popular!)

Anyways, because I went there with my friends, and traveled on a budget, we decided to buy just one big portion of the beef soup, some 牛肉燥飯，豬肉燥飯，青菜，pickles, and plum tomatoes.

Beef soup: 10/10 (Imagine eating this in winter while it's hot 🤤) 牛肉燥飯： 6/10 (I think it's kinda average, tastes like any other 肉燥飯） 青菜：6/10 (also kinda average, but this is just a companion for the beef soup) Pickles: 6.5/10 (the sourness is kinda perfect for me, also love the spicy taste from the garlic) Plum tomato: didn't try, my friend ate it.

ALSOOOO, THEIR CHILI SAUCE TASTES SOOO SO GOOD! 10/10. Perfect to go with the beef soup + 青菜 ❤️ perfect combo

It is also to note, that you don't need 10 minutes after ordering, and all the food will arrive! (IT'S SUPER FAST) The aunties are also very nice and careful when they served us food 🫶

I think this place is definitely worth trying out, because beef soup is one of the popular foods in Tainan hehe 🫶 will definitely come...

Absolutely delicious beef soup. A little bit on the pricier side by Taiwanese standards, but definitely worth it. I went to the new shop for Win Chang and the restaurant is very big and nice. When you walk in, you'll be handed a menu and directed to a table. Use the marker they give you to mark what you want on the menu, and then bring it up to the front to pay. Service is very fast, I got my order of their signature soup with a side of rice in only a few minutes. There's a table where you can get sauce and mix whatever you want. There is also a restroom available, and it is also as nice as the rest of the restaurant. Overall a great experience and great food, I can definitely see why...

Don't know why this place doesn't have a higher rating! EVERYTHING was amazing. The beef was flavor packed. Tender. Fresh. So good. Get the soup w beef can get a soup refill for free if you want (and you do). Beef on rice. Beef and scrambled egg. Veggies taste great. I wasn't a huge fan of the plata w beef bc I didn't like the sauce they put on it but without that sauce would probably be really good. Staff was really helpful and friendly. They have English menus if you need it. Sauce station was fantastic. Everything was great. A must try if you are in the city. Edit* went back for a late night snack. Still amazing and so worth the trip!...
