Welcome Indian Restaurant is my new favorite spot in Taiwan. After seven years of dining across almost every Indian restaurant in the country, I can confidently say this place stands out. It's owned by chefs, so it makes perfect sense that the food is incredibly fresh and delicious.
The restaurant's decor is beautiful—stepping inside feels like you've entered a cozy European spot. The interior is clean, welcoming, and fresh, creating a pleasant atmosphere that won't disappoint.
Now, let's talk about the food. Don't miss the tomato soup and dal makhani—these dishes will rival any you've had anywhere in the world. The chili chicken, an Indo-Chinese dish, is outstanding, and the jeera rice and garlic naan are out of this world.

There are a variety of curry options, I highly recommend the chicken and lamb curry; specifically the Butter Chicken, Lamb Chop Masala, and Palak Lamb. The meat is tender and curry is fragrant. The portion is quite generous as well. I enjoyed it. The beef is not as tender as the chicken and lamb.
