深杯子石牌概念店 La Copa Oscura — Restaurant in Taipei

My understanding is that this is very much a wine place with the food much less of a priority. We were primarily interested in food and ordered 6 tapas dishes.

Having read the previous reviews I'd say disappointed is an understatement. The bread was extremely mediocre, the nuts weren't fresh, the bisque had an unusual background taste and the taste combinations of the rest were poor.

Having said the above, the staff were friendly and attentive and tried to guide us through the menu as best they could. The decor is fresh and has great potential but some more comfortable seating would be welcome.

Went for the Winter Wonderland, and added the 金标 wine. Loved how there was a surprise wine, and a bonus glass of wine if you manage to guess it right

Also intriguing to have an olive oil ice cream dessert. Contrary to conventional belief, it was good!!

One of the best wine experiences we had in Asia. They really know their stuff and have lots of interesting bottles - love that they focus on Spain only - to choose from.
