Solid 5 star seafood buffet!! I heard great things about this buffet and my only regret was not to come here sooner. We came in on the second seating from 7:30-9pm on a low season Sunday and there were no lines. We started with the grilled seafood section. The Argentinian shrimp was fine, abalone, scallops, nothing really stood out. There were hot pots available which was so cool. We loved the American fatty beef in spicy and also korean kimchi broth. They were above and beyond expectations and tastes just as good as a hot pot restaurant. We loved the hand rolls where you make your own, there's asparagus in it and you can add lobster salad and escargot. We had a couple rounds of that. They also had a sushi trio made to order Including scallop, salmon, And some white fish. They were slightly torched and had a sweet sauce on it. Delicious. Service was great too, our plates were cleared away quickly each round. The cakes were okay but might be a little old. The cream roll was the best. The fruit section was great but the haagen daz ice cream had the best flavors. Green tea, milk caramel, coffee, and chocolate. The chawanmushi was fine not great but the soup next to it was good. Hot food was fine not great and the beef was skippable. Highlights were the hot pots, iberian pork, hiroshima grilled oysters, haagen daz ice cream, hand rolls, made to order sushis. Definitely coming here...
Read moreThe food was delicious and awesome; however, the service is probably the worst one that I have experienced in all the Marriott buffet that I have had. In fact, this is the most unprofessional one. The buffet starts at 5:30, but they allowed guest to enter the buffet before 5:30. The host never tells the guest that the meal time duration is 30 minutes less than weekday. I expressed to the team leader how we felt, the team leader understood it, and tell us we can finish everything after 7 pm. However after 7pm, the waitress kept telling us that we should finish by 7 pm, and imply that we should leave by now. As we walked out the buffet, there were 3 to 4 tables of guests who were still enjoying their dinner, and no one force them to go.
My husband and I were looking forward to have a great dinner with family members. However, it ends up really bad. We were very disappointed to have this experience in one of the Marriott’s...
Read moreStayed here with family and had the breakfast included option. I don't think the breakfast buffet is worth the price.
All the food under the "heat lamps" were cold! I don't expect the food to be piping hot as if it was straight out of the frying pan, but the bacon was actually cold, as well as the scallion pancakes. Perhaps if they placed the serving platters on top of hot water? Was also disappointed in the scallion pancakes. Wasn't crispy, nor "fluffy".
The only good thing about this buffet was the variety of food that was able to save its "cold food" mentioned previously.
The made to order noodles and beef soup were delicious, and I appreciated the congee station, the bread/toast section, fruit section, and steamed buns section.
Note - multigrain buns and steamed...
